The first thing I asked myself when I saw the title of this show was, “why would I want to see a show about cancer? There are enough depressing things going on in the world today.” Even though the show’s creator and only performer, Montana von Fliss, described it to me as a “black comedy,” I still wasn’t totally convinced.
