With a strong Seattle backing, a fabulous show from Los Campesinos! was not in question; the question, rather, was how fabulous the show would be. The Showbox at the Market tends to carry a good balance of friendly bartenders, a wild crowd and wonderful sound and lighting. The all-ages show was fairly far from sold out, even with the Southwest corner lounge gated off and the under 21 crowd was well represented which actually added a loud, wild spin to the evening.

Sia: Musician or comedian? Well, those that have seen her act would definitely have to agree that she is a jazzy/pop singer who loves making you laugh hysterically. Arriving in Seattle on April 12, Sia started her West Coast tour promoting her new album titled, “We Are Born,” scheduled for release in early June of this year. Playing the Showbox at the Market, Sia was accompanied by the New York artists who call themselves “Body Language,” bringing with them a funky, upbeat, electronica sound.
