Maps & Atlases and Frightened Rabbit at Neumos on May 15

Sunday’s show at Neumos on May 15th was a frolicking good time. I got in towards the end of the first opener, Our Brother The Native, which was a good introduction of what was to come. Maps & Atlases really blew me away, as I had never seen them before but merely sampled their music online. I’ll just say it right now: raggedy progressive folk-rock is making its way both in Seattle and nationally, it seems. Drinking for a Cause: Tour Of Seattle

Dusk off those bikes, grab your I.D., and ride down to Via Triunali‘s for happy hour between 5pm and 7pm for their signature Margherita happy hour pizza. There’s a catch, each one of the 5 Via Tribunali’s store locations are included in the free pizza deal, but only one store location will be playing sponsor each Wednesday starting with Georgetown’s location on May 12th, and ending the Tour Of Seattle at Fremont’s store location on June 9th.
