Hello everyone! We are excited to announce that one of the partners here at Seattle Scenester has moved on to a new project- an event calendar that includes tech, film, art, theater and music events. Bringing an editor with her in the move, Seattle Scenester is left to do what it always did best: provide reviews of shows around Seattle. We hope that you check out the new site: FourThirtySix.com and continue to read the editorial content after the fact, here at Scenester, too.
Be sure to follow us on twitter, if you aren’t already: @seattlescenestr

Theatre Schmeater has been kind enough to host a mini series put on by Improvolution, a small, quirky cast who met at Cornish College of the Arts. The series is a 3 week run of late night comedy in long-form (which means that the scenes are related to each other in some way). Tonight, April 8th, is the third and final show.
Improvolution has a cutesy story behind it, in that the six of them met as freshman back at Cornish. They are comprised of Richard Andreissen (the musician), Dana Blasingame …

Here at Seattle Scenester, our goal has always been to provide the masses with a list of Seattle music and art events happening each night. As anyone who’s tried to find an event to go to last minute (whether you’re planning a date, having a case of the Mondays and need to get out, or new to town and want to get out and experience Seattle), knows — it’s pretty freaking hard to find! We feel your pain. We want to fill that void.
So, you’ll see some changes around here happening gradually. The first one is that we’re no longer posting shows day by day- but instead hour by hour! We’ve also added more categories of events for you to choose from. Take a moment and check out our event lists on the right sidebar of the site– for Music, Shows, Art, Theatre and Tech events- we’ve got it all baby! Enjoy.

In celebration and honor of the late Joe Deal, Henry Art gallery exhibits a collection of his work and the work of his peers, titled “Views of the Altered Landscape”.
